By using this website and/or making a purchase through this website you agree to and accept our Terms and Conditions.
All transactions undertaken through this website are governed by English and EU (including Dutch) Law.
Privacy Statement
The company Image Found respects and protects the privacy of anyone who visits the www.imagefound.com website. We will not sell or pass on any personal or contact information to third parties. We do not collect credit or debit card information: this is done entirely by Pay Pal.
The Image Found website includes links to other sites, not owned or managed by Image Found. We cannot be held responsible for the privacy of data collected by those websites and companies.

Guarantee
We honour all requirements of Dutch Consumer Protection law and without affecting your statutory rights as a consumer we will replace or refund the price of any products which you consider unsatisfactory. If at any time you are unhappy with any product, we aim to resolve any issues as quickly and cordially as possible.
Shipping and Handling
We aim to offer an efficient and reliable delivery service. We are a very small company, so slight delays may occur when many orders are received all at once. The cost of your delivery is calculated according to the amount of books purchased. Postage is based on actual rate and weight tariffs. In order to keep postage costs to a minimum some items may be sent in recycled packaging. Our policy is to dispatch all orders within 5 days. If items are unavailable then we will contact you to advise those that are not in stock and those which can be sent immediately. We cannot be held responsible for delays in the postal service. It is advisable to allow up to 7 working days for delivery in the Netherlands. Overseas airmail delivery takes approximately 7 – 10 days. Overseas surface mail takes 8 – 12 weeks.
Copies ordered from bookshops in The Netherlands can be sent via ‘Vervoer Centrale’ which currently costs €1.50 per parcel for same day or next day delivery, excluding weekends. This is a very reliable and quick system of distribution, so bookshop orders are highly recommended. All other items are sent ‘recorded’ and/or ‘signed for’ delivery. If your order has been lost in the post it can be sent again or refunded 20 working days after it was dispatched. Even though books can be ordered online, as we are a small business we are only open 9.00-14.00, Monday to Friday for telephone enquiries. If for any reason you wish to return any item please email or telephone the publisher in advance. The publisher is often away at book fairs and selling books abroad, so you need to agree in writing how and when to return the book(s). It would be useful for the publisher to obtain brief comments on the product if the purchaser decides to return an item, as all feedback is carefully read and taken seriously. All our prices are listed in Euros except for bookshops in the UK, when pounds sterling is used. Your credit card company will automatically convert the transaction to your currency at the going rate at the time of purchase.
Tax Charges and Prices
All our prices include BTW (Dutch VAT), where applicable, charged at current rates. All prices are displayed in Euros on the website and in pounds in British retail outlets. UK bookshops or other businesses with a valid VAT number, (which should be included on the invoice), are exempt from paying BTW.
Secure Ordering
We use Pay Pal to process payments. Image Found does not have access to your credit card number since this is sent directly to Pay Pal. If you wish to purchase an item to be sent to an address outside the EU, it is advisable to contact the art bookshop; ‘Shashin Art Books’, who can process international payments and postage. Returns and Refunds
You may return any product you buy from us for a full refund (excluding postage) if you contact us within 7 days of receiving your goods. The value of the item(s) will be refunded by Pay Pal if you used this method of payment. If you paid by cheque we will post you a cheque as soon as possible. We will not refund the cost of postage to return the goods. In the case of damage in transit, we accept no liability for any damage that occurs once goods have left our office. If the goods you receive are damaged, please retain all relevant documentation in case a claim needs to be made against the carrier. The guarantee is only valid if the product has not been damaged or seems dirty or used. We require that all goods be returned by ‘recorded’ or ‘signed for’ delivery as we cannot be held responsible for any goods lost during transit.
Please include your name, delivery address, phone number and your ‘Transaction ID’ in any correspondence. You’ll find this in the confirmation email that you received from Pay Pal.

Price, Payment and Description
The price of the products listed will be the price quoted on the website at the time we accept your order. You will be charged any relevant value added tax (BTW in The Netherlands). The cost of delivery will be calculated according to your purchase at the point of transaction.
We reserve the right to alter our prices and the postage costs, in particular when these are increased by the postal service in January.
Note for book dealers: Usual terms and conditions are: payment is due within 30 days (‘Betalingstermijn: 30 dagen’ in Dutch).
From the due date of the invoice to the date of payment in full, interest at the rate of 1% per month may be charged to the private customer or bookshop for any amounts outstanding, together with any collection fees incurred by Image Found. If payment is not received with five days of a letter being sent to the purchaser after the due date of the invoice, for debts of less than £1000 the penalty is €20 (or £20 for invoices not paid in the UK).
Clients who pay late must by law pay compensation and penalty interest. The UK Late Payment of Commercial Debt (Interest) Act (1988) was amended in 2002 to include fixed penalties in addition to interest. We understand and will exercise our statutory right to interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid according to agreed credit terms.
If the invoices are disputed by the customer, this must be done as soon as possible in writing and no longer than the due date of the invoice.
Order confirmation
Once you have placed an order online you will be sent a confirmation of your order by e-mail. (This applies to all orders received after March 25th 2009)
Changes
As part of our policy of continuous review, these terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice and at the discretion of Image Found. At no point do they affect your statutory rights.
